Guidelines.

Practical safety guidance for Customers and Buddies before, during and after a ChillUp activity.

Effective date: September 19, 2026

Safety First

If something feels unsafe, you can step away.

A confirmed booking does not require you to remain in a situation that you reasonably believe is unsafe. Protect yourself first, seek appropriate help when necessary, and report the incident to ChillUp when you are safe.

1. Purpose of these Safety Guidelines

ChillUp is a service marketplace where Customers can discover and book services offered by independent Buddies. These Safety Guidelines provide practical steps that Customers and Buddies can follow before, during and after an activity.

Safety is a shared responsibility. ChillUp provides platform features, verification processes, policies and support mechanisms, but no online platform can guarantee that every interaction or real-world activity will be completely risk-free.

Customers and Buddies should use reasonable judgement and should immediately prioritise their personal safety when a situation appears unsafe.

2. Our Safety Principles

Know Who You're Meeting

Review the available profile, verification information, service details and booking information before accepting or attending an activity.

Choose Appropriate Locations

For activities where location matters, prefer public, appropriate and mutually agreed meeting places.

Protect Personal Information

Avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive information such as passwords, OTPs, financial details or private documents.

Trust Your Instincts

If something feels unsafe or significantly different from the agreed booking, you can stop the interaction and report the concern.

3. Safety Before a Booking

Before accepting or attending a booking, both Customers and Buddies should understand what is being booked and how the activity is expected to take place.

  • Review the profile and service information available on ChillUp.
  • Confirm the activity, date, time and relevant location details.
  • Make sure the service being booked matches the service being offered.
  • Use ChillUp's official booking and payment process.
  • Do not share sensitive authentication or financial information.
  • Raise important questions or concerns before the activity where reasonably possible.

4. Safety for Customers

Before Booking

  • Read the Buddy's profile and understand what service or activity is being offered.
  • Review the activity details, expected duration, location and applicable price before confirming the booking.
  • Use the information available on ChillUp to make an informed decision about the booking.
  • Keep important communication related to the booking within ChillUp where possible.
  • Do not share passwords, OTPs, card PINs, banking credentials or other authentication information with a Buddy.
  • If you have specific accessibility, medical or other practical requirements relevant to safely completing the activity, communicate them where appropriate before the booking.

During the Activity

  • Meet at the agreed location and follow the agreed activity plan.
  • Maintain reasonable personal boundaries and communicate clearly if you are uncomfortable.
  • Do not allow a Buddy to pressure you into unrelated activities, payments or locations.
  • Do not hand over passwords, OTPs, banking credentials or identity documents to a Buddy.
  • If the activity changes materially from what was booked, use your judgement and contact ChillUp support where necessary.
  • If you feel unsafe, you can leave the activity and seek help.

5. Safety for Buddies

Before Accepting a Booking

  • Keep your ChillUp profile and verification information accurate and up to date.
  • Only list services and activities that you are genuinely able and authorised to provide.
  • Clearly communicate your service, availability, expected duration and applicable charges.
  • Do not accept a booking if you already know that you cannot reasonably complete it.
  • Never request or store unnecessary sensitive information from a Customer.
  • Do not ask Customers to share passwords, OTPs, card PINs, banking credentials or authentication codes.

During the Activity

  • Follow the service or activity that the Customer booked and avoid introducing unrelated services.
  • Respect the Customer's personal boundaries, decisions and reasonable requests.
  • Do not pressure a Customer to change the agreed location or activity.
  • Do not request unnecessary personal documents or sensitive information.
  • If you believe the situation is becoming unsafe, end the activity appropriately and move to a safe location.
  • Report serious incidents, threats, harassment or suspicious behaviour to ChillUp.

6. Meeting Location Safety

The appropriate meeting location depends on the activity. Customers and Buddies should use reasonable judgement when selecting or confirming a location.

  • Confirm the activity, date, time and meeting location before the session.
  • Where appropriate, prefer public or otherwise suitable locations for the activity.
  • Avoid isolated locations when the activity does not require one.
  • Do not pressure another person to move to a different location against their wishes.
  • If the agreed location becomes unsafe, move to a safer appropriate location or end the activity.
  • For activities involving special equipment, vehicles, water, heights or physical exertion, follow reasonable precautions appropriate to that activity.

If a location feels unsafe

You do not have to continue simply because a booking has been confirmed. Move to a safer location or leave the activity if you reasonably believe that continuing could put you at risk.

7. Protecting Personal Information

Customers and Buddies should protect their own information and respect the privacy of others.

Never share authentication information

OTP codes, passwords, card PINs, UPI PINs and account recovery information should never be shared with another user or with someone claiming to be ChillUp support.

Protect identity documents

Do not request, photograph, store or distribute another person's Aadhaar, PAN, passport, driving licence or other identity document unless there is a legitimate and authorised reason.

Protect financial information

Do not ask another user for card numbers, CVV, banking credentials or UPI PINs. ChillUp support will not require your payment authentication credentials.

Respect photographs and recordings

Do not secretly record, photograph or distribute private images, conversations or personal information where the person would reasonably expect privacy.

ChillUp's handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Payments and Financial Safety

Booking payments should be made through the official ChillUp payment flow.

  • Never share your UPI PIN, card PIN, CVV, password or OTP with another user.
  • Do not make payments to a Buddy's personal bank account, UPI ID or other unofficial payment channel for a ChillUp booking unless the platform explicitly instructs otherwise.
  • Do not accept requests to hide payments or booking details from ChillUp.
  • If someone claims to be ChillUp support and asks for your OTP, password or payment authentication information, do not provide it.

9. Recognising Red Flags

The following behaviours should be treated as warning signs:

A user asks you to move the booking or payment outside ChillUp.
Someone requests an OTP, password, UPI PIN, card PIN or banking credentials.
A profile or person behaves significantly differently from the information provided on the platform.
Someone pressures you to meet somewhere you consider unsafe.
A user asks for unrelated sexual, romantic, escort or other prohibited services.
Someone threatens, intimidates or repeatedly contacts you after you ask them to stop.
Someone asks you to conceal the activity, payment or identity from ChillUp.
You are asked to participate in an illegal or dangerous activity.

A single warning sign does not necessarily establish wrongdoing, but users should use their judgement and prioritise safety when multiple concerns arise.

10. Prohibited and Unsafe Activities

ChillUp must not be used to arrange or facilitate activities that are illegal, dangerous or prohibited under the platform rules.

  • Sexual services or escort arrangements.
  • Illegal transactions or criminal activity.
  • Activities involving weapons or dangerous substances.
  • Activities that intentionally create an unreasonable risk of serious injury.
  • Requests to participate in dangerous acts that are unrelated to the booked service.
  • Using a booking as a means to gain unauthorised access to private premises or restricted areas.

Depending on the activity, additional precautions may be required. Customers and Buddies should not assume that a booking through ChillUp makes an inherently dangerous activity safe.

11. Physical Activities and Special Risks

Some activities may involve physical exertion, equipment, travel, water, heights, sports or other specific risks.

Customers should only participate in an activity when they are comfortable with the relevant physical requirements and should communicate relevant limitations before the activity where appropriate.

Buddies should not knowingly encourage a Customer to perform an activity beyond the Customer's stated or reasonably apparent ability or in a manner that creates an unreasonable safety risk.

Where professional qualifications, licences, permits or specialised training are legally required for a service, the Buddy is responsible for holding the appropriate qualifications or authorisations before offering that service.

12. Children and Age Requirements

ChillUp is intended for users who meet the minimum age requirements stated in the Terms & Conditions.

Users must not create accounts using another person's identity or misrepresent their age during registration or verification.

Unless a specific service is expressly designed and legally permitted for minors under an appropriate process, Customers and Buddies should not arrange activities involving minors through ordinary ChillUp bookings.

13. What to Do in an Emergency

Your immediate safety comes first.

ChillUp support is not a substitute for emergency services or law enforcement.

1

Move away from the immediate danger if you can do so safely.

2

Contact the appropriate local emergency services or authorities when immediate assistance is required.

3

If possible, move to a populated or otherwise safer location.

4

Do not put yourself at additional risk by confronting a threatening person.

5

Once you are safe, report the incident to ChillUp with the relevant booking information.

14. Reporting a Safety Concern

Report a safety concern as soon as reasonably possible. Where available, use the reporting or support options within the ChillUp app.

You can also contact ChillUp support for platform-related safety concerns.

15. What You Can Report

You can report concerns including:

  • Threats or physical safety concerns.
  • Harassment, stalking or intimidation.
  • Sexual harassment or prohibited sexual conduct.
  • Fraud, impersonation or suspicious behaviour.
  • Requests for OTPs, passwords or financial credentials.
  • Off-platform payment requests.
  • A serious Buddy or Customer no-show or incident.
  • Any activity that appears illegal or seriously unsafe.

When making a report, provide accurate information. Where possible, include the relevant booking details, date, time and other information that may help ChillUp review the concern.

16. Safety Reports and Privacy

ChillUp may need to review relevant platform information when investigating a reported safety incident, subject to applicable privacy requirements and the ChillUp Privacy Policy.

Information may be used to understand the incident, protect users, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce platform policies and comply with applicable legal requirements.

17. Safety Enforcement

Where a safety concern or policy violation is identified, ChillUp may take appropriate action depending on the circumstances.

  • Request additional information from the involved users.
  • Restrict or remove problematic content or services.
  • Cancel or restrict affected bookings where appropriate.
  • Issue warnings or require corrective action.
  • Temporarily restrict account features.
  • Temporarily suspend an account or Buddy profile.
  • Permanently remove an account or profile for serious or repeated violations.
  • Cooperate with lawful requests from appropriate authorities where required.

18. Safety Does Not Replace Professional Advice

ChillUp is a technology marketplace and is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, security or emergency services.

A Buddy must not represent themselves as a regulated professional unless they have the relevant qualifications and authorisations.

If you require specialised professional assistance, use an appropriately qualified and authorised professional.

20. Updates to these Guidelines

ChillUp may update these Safety Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in the platform, safety practices, applicable law or operational requirements.

The latest version published on the ChillUp website will apply from its stated effective date.

Safety is a shared responsibility

ChillUp works to provide a safer marketplace through verification, platform rules, secure payment processes and support. Customers and Buddies should still use reasonable judgement and take appropriate precautions during real-world activities.
